Some Midcoast Mainers will be a little warmer this winter and next, thanks to a recent donation by Camden National Bank.

Joanne Campbell, Executive Vice President for Risk Management, and June Parent, Executive Vice President for Retail Banking, presented the gift to Midcoast Habitat for Humanity’s Weatherization Program early this month.  Executive Director Tia Anderson gratefully accepted the donation, and said it will greatly aid the organization’s efforts to help low-income Knox county homeowners.

“We are pleased to assist Midcoast Habitat for Humanity with their Weatherization Program, which is an expansion of their program offerings,” said Joanne Campbell. “Here in the Midcoast there is a significant need not only for new housing, but to improve the housing stock that already exists. The weatherization program focuses Habitat’s expertise into existing homes, providing financial support, along with sweat equity and education, to make energy related improvements that will help these low income homeowners remain in their homes.”

Midcoast Habitat appreciates the continued support of Camden National Bank.
