From customer service to furniture repair, Midcoast Habitat ReStore offer a multitude of volunteer opportunities geared toward individual interests and skills. By giving your time, you help Midcoast Habitat ReStore do more to support building projects that benefit families in Knox County.

Midcoast Habitat for Humanity Volunteers

On construction sites and in the Midcoast ReStore – continuously help families in Knox County build decent and affordable place to call home.

Volunteers provide support to Midcoast Habitat ReStore in a wide variety of ways. Midcoast ReStore strive to keelessp operating costs as low as possible to maximize the amount of money that goes directly to benefit Knox County, and volunteers are one of the ways to achieve this. Volunteers also help ensure every ReStore is a great experience for donors and shoppers.


Volunteer opportunities at your Habitat ReStore

There are many ways to volunteer at Midcoast Habitat ReStore. Volunteer needs may vary, but the following are common ways you can help the ReStore:

  • Creating decorative displays
  • DIY projects
  • Customer service
  • Stocking store shelves
  • Unloading trucks
  • Furniture repair and refurbishing
  • Helping with donation pickups
  • Organizing the ReStore and the warehouse
  • Cashier
  • Sales floor associate

Regular Volunteering

ReStore Regular Volunteers help out once or more a week.  If you want to be a Regular Volunteer come to the ReStore office and  learn more about the program. Regular Volunteers usually help out one 3 hour weekly shift.


One Day At A Time

You can volunteer for a single shift anytime. Just pick a shift below that will work for you. Tasks include helping us sort, process and clean incoming donations.One 3 hour shift, Tues – Sat.
